Resumen
El objetivo de este artículo es establecer los diferentes cambios a los que hubo de someterse la política militar estadounidense, en el periodo de la reconstrucción, durante la posguerra civil. Para hacerlo marco como puntos de interés la influencia que socialmente tuvieron el ejército y la marina, así como el grado de incremento de las fuerzas armadas respecto a 1861, al tiempo que perfilo el papel que desempeñó en este periodo desmovilizar al ejército de la Unión.Descargas
